The Oakes would like to welcome you to Cannah House. Cannah House is located on the Texas Gulf coast in Port O'Connor, Texas. This beautiful 4 bedroom/4bath house is located one block from Matagorda Bay and Front Beach, which includes a fishing pier.

Port O'Connor is referred to as the “Best Kept Secret in Texas” because of its incredible offshore, bay and flats fishing, its duck and wild game hunting and its spectacular bird watching.

Cannah House offers a spacious front patio to relax. A barrel grill is available to grill your “catch of the day”. Each of the four bedrooms is furnished with a queen bed and a bunk bed and 3 bedrooms have private baths. The “Light House Room” shares a bath with the hallway. A large utility room is available with washer & dryer, sink as well as a place to store your fishing gear. Upstairs is a large game room complete with video games, shuffleboard, foosball table, sitting area, TV and WIFI;a great place for rainy day fun or to send the kids.

Feel free to bring your boat. Cannah House offers plenty of parking even for boat trailers, since it is on a corner lot. We also offer a sling slip located next to Froggies public boat ramp and bait shop. It is a great location to hang your boat and clean your fish. There is “no fish cleaning” at the house. We also have a “no pets” policy for the convenience of our other guests.
